the bearing needs to be pressed on i know that. but how do i get to it.i mean how do i tear it down? drivers sideHow do u change a wheel bearing on a 95 Honda civic?
First, you need to remove he hub (what wheel and brake are attached to) from the suspension. This can be done with ordinary tools fairly easily. Just follow the directions in the repair manual. When the hub is removed, the bearing will need to be pressed out and a new bearing pressed in. Take the hub and new bearing you got from your parts supplier to a machine shop or auto repair shop and have them press the old bearing out and the new one in. Then put everything back together on the car and that's it.
I was charged $30 for the pressing, and $50 for the bearing. How do u change a wheel bearing on a 95 Honda civic?
The above answer is correct, however any suspension work should be done on BOTH sides!Be safe,do both sides.
